Digital Signage for Treatment Areas and Consult Rooms
Incorporating digital signage in the treatment area and consult room can fulfill the continued critical need of information communication, and is a must for increasing visibility of practice messages and improving patient experience.
When patients are in the chair, practices have the opportunity to take advantage of a captive audience, displaying content and visuals that can lighten the mood, reassure patients, and educate on important matters.
Digital signage is a great platform for showcasing the friendly faces of the doctors and staff, reminding patients of the awesome team they’ve come to know or are new to meet. This all helps ensure a more positive in-office experience for every patient.
What does it involve?
If you already have screens in your treatment area, but are not sure how to extend the signal from your waiting rooms system, DSID can help.
DSID can extend to as many screens as your cabling infrastructure allows for. The DSID system has one HDMI output, but with the use of a splitter and extenders, the signal can be distributed to multiple screens. DSID’s monthly billing is priced per system, not per screen. So whether you have 1 or 10 screens connected, the monthly cost is the same.
Based on the distance to the additional screens, up to 10ft HDMI cables can be used. However, the most reliable type of cabling is CAT6 ethernet cord in conjunction with HDMI over CAT6 transmitters and receivers.
